San Diego fans have hard time forgiving the Chargers

I thought Steve Breen’s Sunday “comic” (“Chargers fan,” Nov. 18) was spot on. The only problem was that the U-T should have also been shown as a Los Angeles Charger fan because of all of the front page coverage the Los Angeles Chargers get in the Monday sports section.

Being a loyal San Diegan, I have not and will not ever watch the Los Angeles Chargers again.

The San Diego Chargers moved to Los Angeles because the city of San Diego flatly refused to finance a new stadium for the team.

Did the city and Dean Spanos attempt to reach a compromise? I don’t know. But that would have been a good idea, It would have been worth a try.
