The Oakland Raiders will head to Los Angeles on Sunday to take on the Chargers in their second AFC West tilt of the 2018 NFL season.
The Oakland Raiders won their first game of the 2018 campaign this past weekend, as they took care of business against the Cleveland Browns at home. Well, took care of business would be kind of an overstatement, as it took overtime, and they had to come back from an eight-point deficit to get the victory.
Still, a win is a win in the NFL, and with the victory, the team avoided that dreaded 0-4 start to the season. This weekend, they hit the road to play the Los Angeles Chargers, who have gotten off to a 2-2 start, but are not having the kind of season most expected them to entering Week 1.
For the Chargers, they are still without Joey Bosa, and his minor injury has become one that has lasted weeks now. Though the Raiders are away, this game could be more of a home game, as the Raiders have a strong fan base in Los Angeles, and Raider Nation will certainly be represented on Sunday.
Oakland has been a mystery to solve this season, as they have looked so good in every game, but have let leads slip away in the second half. Last weekend, the Raiders were able to overcome adversity in the second half, so maybe they put four solid quarters together against their AFC West rival in Week 5.
