Six former North Dakota State football players earned victories in the NFL in Week 12, headlining the action for Bison in the professional ranks.
 
Carson Wentz capped a comeback with a game-winning drive for the Philadelphia Eagles, and Billy Turner and Kyle Emanuel continued to earn starts for the Broncos and Chargers, respectively.
 
Rookie linebacker Nick DeLuca played a season-high 28 snaps and recorded two tackles for Jacksonville. Tenth-year veteran linebacker Ramon Humber made his debut for the AFC East-leading New England Patriots after signing with the team on Nov. 15.
 
There are seven current NFL players from North Dakota State – six active, and one on injured reserve.

Carson Wentz
Team: Philadelphia Eagles (5-6)
NFL Season: 3rd
Week 12 Numbers: Completed 20-of-28 passes for 236 yards and 1 touchdown in the Eagles’ 25-22 win over the New York Giants … Led the Eagles back from a 19-3 deficit, including a 10-play game-winning drive … Averaging 282 yards per game with a 70% completion percentage this season … 16-to-6 TD-to-INT ratio for the season.
 
Billy Turner
Team: Denver Broncos (5-6)
NFL Season: 5th
Week 12 Numbers: Started at left guard in the Broncos’ 24-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers … Played every offensive snap in the game … Has started 6 of the past 7 games, with this being his 2nd start at left guard … Broncos rushed for 124 yards in the win.  
 
Kyle Emanuel
Team: Los Angeles Chargers (8-3)
NFL Season: 4th
Week 12 Numbers: Earned the start and played 17 snaps in the Chargers’ 45-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals … Played 12 snaps on defense and 5 on special teams … Has made 6 starts at linebacker this season … 19 tackles in 11 games. 
 
Nick DeLuca
Team: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-8)
NFL Season: 1st
Week 12 Numbers: Recorded 2 tackles in the Jaguars’ 24-21 loss at Buffalo … Played a season-high 28 snaps in the game – all on special teams … Signed to the Jaguars’ 53-man active roster on Oct. 22 after spending the first 7 weeks of the season on Jacksonville’s practice squad.
 
Chris Board
Team: Baltimore Ravens (6-5)
NFL Season: 1st
Week 12 Numbers: Played 23 snaps in the Ravens’ 34-17 victory over the Oakland Raiders – 22 on special teams and 1 on defense … Has played an average of 23 snaps per game through the first 12 weeks of the season after making the team as an undrafted rookie.
 
Ramon Humber
Team: New England Patriots (8-3)
NFL Season: 10th
Week 12 Numbers: Made his Patriots debut in a 27-13 road victory over the New York Jets … Played 19 snaps in the game – all on special teams … Humber ranks 4th among all former Bison with 131 NFL games played, trailing only Tyrone Braxton, Steve Nelson and Phil Hansen.
 
Joe Haeg
Team: Indianapolis Colts (6-5)
NFL Season: 3rd
Week 12 Numbers: Has not played since being placed on the injured reserve list Sept. 28 with a high ankle sprain … Haeg has started 32 of his 35 career games for the Colts at four different positions … Could be activated off injured reserve prior to this week’s game at Jacksonville.
