Prior to Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the Los Angeles Chargers ruled Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon out for the contest due to a lingering hamstring injury.
Following the contest, head coach Anthony Lynn voiced that the team had made this decision solely to protect Gordon from having this issue persist longer than it should typically take to heal, according to Ryan Kartje of The LA Daily News.
