It’s an AFC West divisional battle as the Oakland Raiders host the Los Angeles Chargers in their final head-to-head of the season. Here’s three matchups to lookout for.

Sunday’s matchup is a head-to-head between the top and bottom of the AFC West, with the Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders claiming each of those labels respectively. Los Angeles has gotten off to a strong start this season, managing to keep themselves within reasonable distance with the Kansas City Chiefs, who sit atop the division standings. Oakland meanwhile has firmly planted themselves as the bottom feeders of the NFL, still looking for the second win of the year.

The Raiders find themselves with a great chance at securing the number one overall pick in the 2019 draft given that as the weeks go on so do their totals in the losses column. The question ahead is whether Oakland will play spoiler and upset the Chargers’ positive momentum, or rack up another loss to improve their draft odds.

The last time these two met was in Week 5 as Los Angeles dominated the pace and momentum of the game, as a result Oakland put on their most uninspiring performance (at the time). The offense was stuck to a halt and that led to Los Angeles eventually breaking the stalemate onwards to a win. Now with a more depleted roster, there’s a likelihood that Sunday’s game might not be a stalemate for long.

Here’s three matchups to keep an eye on.
