The Kansas City Chiefs fell short of their ultimate goal this season, narrowly dropping a thrilling bout with the New England Patriots on Sunday night for the AFC crown, but while the loss stings now, there’s little doubt that the 2018 campaign provided a glimpse into an exciting future for the franchise.
