
November is Salute to Service month in the NFL and this week, the Los Angeles Chargers spent time internet hosting a lot of occasions in guidance of our military.
Previously in the week, Keenan Allen, Desmond King and Rayshawn Jenkins stopped by the Microsoft retail store in South Coast Plaza to be a part of a Pros vs. GI Joes Fortnite event. The Bolts teamed up with customers of Wounded Warriors to contend towards eight other NFL teams who were also actively playing in the Tourney for the Troops.
On Friday, the workforce welcomed 10 people from the Tragedy Guidance Plan for Survivors (T.A.P.S.) to follow. The gold star people were paired up with 10 Chargers gamers, like Philip Rivers, Melvin Gordon, Mike Pouncey and Antonio Gates, to position a decal of the initials of their lost liked 1 on the player’s helmet.
“This is magnificent,” Pouncey said. “These people hazard a whole lot to go out there and make sure we have a harmless state to be in. These people go via a whole lot currently, so to be equipped to go out there and don these initials on my helmet signifies a whole lot to me. Without the need of our services customers, we would not be who we are today. They make this state harmless for us to be equipped to go out and engage in this game that we love.”
