While the Bolts have healthy backs again, Denver will be without star rookie running back Phillip Lindsay. The Pro Bowler’s season ends after suffering a wrist injury in Sunday’s game against the Raiders. Lindsay, who was placed on Injured/Reserve Friday, has had an impressive rookie campaign, leading the team with 1,037 rushing yards on 192 carries (5.4 avg.). In his place, rookie Royce Freeman and veteran Devontae Booker will step up and share the workload.
Also placed on IR and out for the Broncos is WR Andre Holmes (ankle). The Broncos’ receiving corps has been depleted as of late, with leading receiver Emmanuel Sanders out for the season with a torn Achilles.
